The standard format is an annual partner-track retreat for 30-60 people over 4 days. Half the programme is confidential leadership content (a facilitator from a top firm, peer-only sessions, a Chatham House mode). Half is on the water, in a mixed-team racing format where the partner track and the MDs mix deliberately to exchange experience.

Integrating senior teams after M&A is a separate bread-and-butter. When a firm acquires a boutique and needs to stitch 8 senior partners together over 12 months, we run a 4-day offsite with a concrete programme: trust-building in the first 24 hours, alignment on a shared vision by day three, the allocation of responsibilities by day four. It is an investment, not a holiday.

We don't do corporate cheese. We have no rope-course 'team-building exercises'. We have real sailing with real wind and real consequences for weak cooperation.
