Cost breakdown

Detailed answers to 'how much does it cost' — for CFOs, HR directors, and procurement.

Three tiers

From Lean to Premium.

Prices are per person for the whole offsite. They are based on a typical group of 10–15 people per yacht in high season (June–September) in the Mediterranean. Low season — April, May, October — is usually 15–25% cheaper.

Lean tier

1,400 – €1,800

per person · 3 days

A bareboat-grade monohull (38–46 ft), one RYA captain per boat, basic catering, a minimal shore programme.

Multiplier on the base rate: ×0.75

Signature tier

1,800 – €2,800

per person · 4 days

Full crew (captain plus deckhand), elevated catering, a shore programme with a facilitator, coordination on water and ashore.

Multiplier on the base rate: ×1.00

Premium tier

2,800 – €4,500

per person · 5 days

A luxury catamaran (46–50 ft), an on-board chef, a hostess, a photographer, premium catering, a concierge ashore.

Multiplier on the base rate: ×1.35

Included in every tier

Everything so participants forget about logistics

The tier price covers everything from the moment a participant reaches the marina to the moment they hand back the hotel key. No surprise charges on the water or ashore.

  • A yacht for 5–15 people (from a 38ft monohull to a 50ft premium catamaran)
  • An experienced captain with an international qualification and 5+ years of commercial practice
  • Fuel, marina fees, end cleaning, transit log
  • Basic catering: breakfasts on board plus lunches on the water
  • Operator insurance (€3M liability) plus participant travel insurance
  • Coordination ashore: an ops manager on call 24/7 during the offsite
  • A branded onboarding pack for participants (welcome guide, itinerary, dress code)
What is not included

Honestly — what is billed separately

Transparency both ways: we do not hide the cost of the yacht, and we do not pretend that flights or visas are our responsibility. We help with them as a service, but they sit as a separate budget line.

  • Participant flights and baggage fees
  • Hotels before and after the event (we book them at a discount on request)
  • Visa fees and document processing (visa support is an option — €120 per participant)
  • Personal spend: souvenirs, personal drinks ashore, spa
  • Extra days not listed in the final brief
  • VIP private-jet flights and yacht transfers from other marinas
What you can add

Five add-ons, per person per day.

Add-ons are applied on top of the tier base price, per participant for each day of the programme. Handy for budgeting: HR can see the gap between a bare Signature and a fully-loaded Signature before sign-off.

The price formula

How your total is calculated.

Total = destination base rate × format multiplier × tier multiplier × days × people + Σ(add-ons × people × days)

The price follows a simple formula. The destination base rate is 400-650 €/person/night, depending on the country and marina (see the table below). The format multiplier reflects complexity: a cruise ×1.00 (base cost), a corporate regatta ×1.20 (a premium for race prep and start-line facilitation), a strategy offsite ×1.30 (lower density plus a facilitator), an incentive ×1.40 (premium catering and a hostess on each boat). Tier multipliers: Lean ×0.75, Signature ×1.00, Premium ×1.35. Add-ons are applied per person per day.

Example: 15 people, 4 days, Split (€400 base), the team-building format (×1.15), the Signature tier (×1.00), no add-ons. Total: 15 × 4 × 400 × 1.15 × 1.00 = €27,600 for the group, or €1,840 per person. Add a hostess (+€35/person/day) — that is +€2,100, so €1,980 per person. The calculator runs this in 30 seconds across the full matrix.

Comparison table

Five destinations × three tiers.

Prices per person per night. Without the format multiplier or add-ons — this is the bare base, to which the format multiplier is applied (cruise ×1.00, regatta ×1.20, team building ×1.15, strategy ×1.30, incentive ×1.40, client event ×1.35) and then the tier multiplier.

Example boats in each tier

How the tier shapes the boat

The tier directly sets the level of yacht: Lean — an entry-fleet monohull, Signature — a premium monohull or a mid-spec catamaran, Premium — a luxury catamaran with crew and a hostess.

Lean tier

Beneteau Oceanis 38.1

Bareboat day rate: €450 – €900. This is the entry-fleet level — the range on which we build fleets for team building and training programmes. Ideal for groups of 30+ where you need identical boats lined up for a regatta.

Premium tier

Lagoon 50

Bareboat day rate: €1,800 – €3,600. A crewed luxury catamaran with a flybridge — the default spec for premium incentives and board-level strategy offsites. A captain, a deckhand, a hostess, premium-grade catering, and transfers are added on top of the day rate — that is what creates the €1,400-per-person gap between Lean and Premium.

FAQ

What buyers ask us most.

Eight questions we receive every week from HR directors and CEOs. Not finding yours? Drop us a line — we reply within 24 hours.

What does a tier's base price include?
Every tier includes a yacht for 5–15 people, an experienced captain with an international qualification, fuel, marina fees, basic catering (breakfast plus lunch on the water), €3M operator insurance, coordination ashore, and a participant onboarding pack. The Lean tier runs three days, Signature adds a fourth day and a deckhand, Premium adds a fifth day, an on-board chef, and a hostess.
How does Signature differ from Premium?
Signature is a 41–46 ft monohull with one captain, elevated catering (tapas on the water plus a shore-restaurant dinner), four days. Premium is a 46–50 ft luxury catamaran with an on-board chef, premium catering at every meal, five days, a hostess on each yacht, and a photographer. Premium suits C-suite groups, incentives, and client events where photogenic results and hosting standards matter.
How is the final price calculated?
Price = destination base rate × format multiplier × tier multiplier × number of days × number of people. Add-ons (hostess, photographer, premium catering, transfers, evening programme) are added per person per day and do not depend on the tier. The calculator at /en/calculator works out an exact quote in 30 seconds.
Can we pay in a currency other than euro?
The contract is always in euro — the standard of the European charter market. Payment is possible from a company account in EUR, in USD at the ECB rate on the invoice date, or on a corporate Visa/Mastercard. We do not yet accept bitcoin or stablecoins.
What is the minimum group size for each tier?
Lean — from 8 people per yacht, minimum 8 people per booking. Signature — from 30 people (a 3-yacht fleet). Premium — from 10 people per yacht, in the form of a single 46–50 ft luxury catamaran. For smaller groups (5–7 people) we put together a custom rate outside the standard grid.
When is a deposit due and how much?
30% on signing the contract (to lock yachts and marinas), 40% 60 days before departure, 30% 14 days before. For repeat clients and large corporates a 20/40/40 split is possible. Cancellation refunds: 90+ days out — 100% less a €500 ops fee, 60–90 days — 50%, 30–60 days — 25%, closer — 0% (covered through travel insurance).
What is not included, and how do we budget for it?
Not included: flights, hotels before and after the event, visas, personal spend. Participants book flights themselves or through our travel partner (3% commission). We book hotels at a 10–15% discount with a corporate code. Visa support is €120 per participant. Personal spend on site is roughly €30–80 a day depending on the country.
Can we cut the price — for example, by going without a captain?
No. All our yachts come with a professional captain — an insurance requirement and a safety standard for corporate groups. If the group includes a captain with a confirmed international qualification and experience, we offer a 15% bareboat discount on the boat. For most corporate offsites this does not fit: HR does not like putting the liability risk on an employee.
